IDA approves Rs 320 crore for development projects

Approval was given for Rs 320 crore for development of Rs 81.30 crore flyover at Mhow Naka Square, Rs 44 crore flyover at Marimata Square and Rs 38.5 crore flyover crore at Bada Ganpati Square. Other major decisions taken during the meeting included carrying out a feasibility study between Rajiv Gandhi Square and Devi Ahilyabai Fruit and Vegetable Market to develop a flyover there, appointing a consultant to prepare the plan of regional development of Indore, to give administrative approval of Rs 12.43 crore for the development. and restoration works at Banganga located at Baneshwari Dham and giving revised administrative approval of Rs 100.90 crore for the under construction Inter-State Bus Terminal (ISBT) on Scheme 139 and 169-A along with Rs 31.7 crore for the international level swimming pool located in Scheme 94. In a meeting, the IDA board also decided to appoint a consultant for a feasibility survey of major roads and squares of the city to propose utility and suitability of cable-car ropeway transit system on public-private partnership (PPP) mode.
